A proven model with two entrances and vestibules, featuring a tried-and-tested cross-pole construction. It provides ample space and the comfort of a private entrance for sleeping persons on both sides of the bedroom.

Thanks to the rigidity of the construction, the tent is suitable for use in demanding conditions. The Tropico tent is made from polyester with a polyurethane coating, which guarantees a hydrostatic head of 4,000 mm. The seams are taped with a waterproof tape. The lining is made from nylon with a polyurethane coating, which provides a hydrostatic head of 10,000 mm. The poles consist of dural segments with a diameter of 9.5 mm (7001 T6).

Description

The tent is double-walled and consists of an inner tent and an outer flysheet - the tropico. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with two entrances on the longer sides. The outer tent is hexagonal and also has two entrances with two triangular vestibules, suitable for storing luggage. At both entrances, you can choose whether to open the left or right half of the entrance, or both at once. You can use this option, for example, when cooking and easily create the necessary air space.

Ventilation

Located at the top of the tropico dome. The ventilation windows are shaped so that they do not lean due to wind. This prevents air loss even in strong wind and rain.

Tent construction

The inner tent is suspended using hooks onto the dural structure. The flysheet is pulled over the structure and then fastened with hook-and-loop fasteners on the underside of the flysheet to the poles. Fasten the clips with carabiners and then pitch the tent. Secure the tent using pegs and guy lines.
