• Duck down with 650 Cuin in a ratio of 90/10 provides excellent loft and therefore great packability whilst maintaining excellent thermal comfort down to -12 °C .
• The down meets RDS certification, which guarantees that it comes from humane sources. It also has a Teflon treatment, which increases its insulation properties and extends its lifespan.
• The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of nylon Ripstop fabric with CCS treatment, which prevents heat loss and maintains the necessary breathability.
• Anatomical construction to increase the efficiency of the sleeping bag. The YKK zip is fitted with a padded baffle, which prevents heat loss through the zip. The slider is also fitted with a leak guard.
• Internal zip pocket for equipment that needs to be protected from the cold (phone, power bank, camera battery).
• The hood is drawn tight with two cords, or a round elastic band and a flat cord – so even in the dark you can tell which part of the hood you are tightening.
• Sleeping bags can be combined with each other, or always left and right versions.
• The package includes a compression bag for transport and a mesh storage bag for ventilating the sleeping bag.
• A drawstring, insulation-lined shoulder collar prevents heat loss and moisture ingress into the sleeping bag.

Specifications

The outer fabric is made from lightweight nylon with Ripstop weave and DWR treatment. It is also fitted with Clima Control Shield technology, which increases the efficiency of the sleeping bag and helps resist external moisture.

Down filling with 650 Cuin, a ratio of 90/10 and filling weight of 630 g (for size 185) is evenly distributed in trapezoidal chambers, which have higher resistance to heat loss, hold the down in place better and prevent it from clumping.

The zips are branded YKK and can be joined with right and left versions.

Down processing

The aim of the RDS (Responsible Down Standard) is to ensure that the down used comes from animals that have not been subjected to unnecessary injury and stress.
This is achieved through independent certification bodies that monitor all stages of the supply chain.
Any removal of down and feathers from live birds (live plucking) is prohibited; forced overfeeding is also prohibited.
Certification ensures that RDS standards are complied with and maintained throughout the supply chain; from the farm to the final product.

Technology

Better properties of down and feathers
Down is one of the best insulation materials for jackets and sleeping bags thanks to its excellent heat-to-weight ratio and resistance to damage from compression. These properties work even better when the down is treated with Teflon™ technology.
Teflon™ prevents down filling from absorbing moisture from the environment. This allows the down to retain its insulation properties whilst resisting damage from compression.
Properties of down after Teflon treatment:

• Faster drying
• Retention of warmth and loft
• After washing, it regains its original loft (fluffiness) more easily and quickly.

Clima Control Shield

Clima Control Shield technology provides a balanced outer fabric that prevents warm air from escaping inside whilst ensuring adequate breathability.
It optimises the balance between windproofness to retain heat and venting of internal moisture to prevent condensation.
The combination of these properties ensures user comfort and a favourable internal climate in the sleeping bag.
Water-repellent treatment provides adequate protection against adverse weather.
Clima Control Shield fabric is lightweight, packable and soft to the touch.
