Family dome tent

Nimbus 3 is an affordable combination of comfort, space, stability and simple construction. This model is a generous space solution for larger groups or family camping.

The Tropico tent is made from polyester with polyurethane coating, which gives it a water column of 4,000 mm. The seams are sealed with heat tape to prevent leaks. The floor is made from nylon with polyurethane coating, which gives it a water column of 10,000 mm. The poles consist of laminate segments with a diameter of 11 and 13 mm.

The tent is double-walled and consists of an inner tent and outer flysheet - the tropico. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with an entrance on the longest side. The outer tent has a large porch, which can be entered via two different entrances.

Tent concept

It is based on the principle that the pole structure threaded through sleeves made of perforated material is outside the flysheet. The flysheet and inner tent (which is suspended beneath the flysheet) are erected simultaneously after threading the sleeves onto the poles. The advantage of this method is that the inner tent can be separated from the flysheet and then the flysheet can be erected independently, creating a single-walled tent.

Ventilation is located at the top of the dome tent. The ventilation windows are shaped so that the wind does not tilt them. This prevents air loss even in rain with strong wind.

Tent construction

Thread the structural poles through the perforated sleeves on the outside of the flysheet and insert the steel spikes threaded onto the flysheet floor into the tubes at the end of the poles. The inner tent is secured to loops on the inside of the tent. Anchor the erected tent with pegs and cords and secure with plastic clips.
