The vestibules are sufficiently high, and the rigidity of the construction allows the tent to be used even in more demanding conditions.

The Tropico tent is made from polyester with a polyurethane surface treatment, which gives it a water column of 4,000 mm. The seams are sealed with heat tape to prevent leakage.

The groundsheet is made from laminated polyethylene with Rip-Stop treatment.

The poles are made from laminate segments with a diameter of 8.5 (main poles) and 9.5 mm (vestibule support poles).

The tent is double-walled and consists of an inner tent and an outer flysheet - the tropico. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with two entrances on the longer sides. The outer tent is octagonal and also has two entrances with two vestibules, suitable for example for storing luggage.

Ventilation is located at the top of the tropico tent dome. The ventilation windows are shaped so that the wind does not tilt them, and if necessary they can be closed using hook-and-loop fasteners. This prevents leakage even in strong wind and rain.

The tent concept is based on the principle that the pole construction threaded through sleeves is outside the flysheet. After threading the poles through the sleeves, the flysheet and inner tent (which is suspended beneath the flysheet) are erected simultaneously. The advantage of this method is that the inner tent can be separated from the flysheet, and then the flysheet can be pitched on its own. In this way you get a single-walled tent without a groundsheet.

Tent construction

Thread the structural poles through the sleeves on the outside of the tent and insert the pole ends into the brass rings on the attachment loops on the bottom edge of the tent. Then fasten the clips on the straps and on the ground inside the tent and pitch the tent. Secure the inner tent to the attachment loops on the inside of the tent. Anchor the tent with pegs and guy lines and secure with plastic clips.
