The new Icefall sleeping bags use MicroThermo High Loft for excellent insulation and compression. This layer sits between the nylon ripstop outer shell and polyester Taffeta lining in a double bottom layer and top layer with shingle construction, which thanks to overlapping diagonal insulation layers prevents cold spots by providing secure placement and even height - extra insulation is added to the foot box. The new thermal collar is shaped for a snug fit across the shoulders and is just one of the features of Icefall that defines use in demanding conditions.
