Ski calf-length socks for expert skiers are ultra-thin, knitted in a very dense and fine knit (200 needles) and completely smooth on the inside as well, with no excess fibres. They deliver maximum possible performance and comfort when skiing. These socks are very thin and conform to the foot, so they function as a second skin, which means the skier feels precise feedback from the ski boot. Organic merino wool and recycled polyamide are used (EcoTech design).

This sock model is used by top competitive skiers from the World Cup. Sidas is, for example, an official partner of the German Ski Association in the field of boot fitting (anatomical insoles, fitting shells, socks).

Ski Ultrafit socks also support blood circulation and stabilise muscles thanks to light compression (20 to 30 mmHg). This leads to faster recovery and better muscle protection and greater performance.

The precision of force transfer depends on the thickness of the socks and the density of the knit. These, in addition to their very thin and densely woven construction, also have the inside carefully finished so that no fibres protrude from it (In & Out construction). As a result, they conform excellently to the foot and do not cause blisters - reinforcement panels on sensitive areas of the foot protect against these as well.

Silicone anti-slip strip on the sole improves the contact between the foot and the insole and helps with better stability. The foot is in direct contact with the boot, which allows the skier more precise force transfer.

Merino wool provides thermal comfort and wicks moisture.
