The ultra-lightweight Altair XR is a compact folding knife with a smooth blade and flat grind. It is made from CRYO CPM 154 steel and is equipped with the highly reliable SOG XR lock. The handle construction features skeletonised liners. It also includes a replaceable cord loop. Thanks to its construction and pocket clip placement, the knife disappears completely in your pocket. DESIGNED FOR LIGHT USE Thanks to the patented SOG XR Lock, the Altair XR is an innovative, ultra-lightweight, compact and easily portable tool suitable for everyday use. EXTREMELY LIGHT AND COMPACT It allows simple carrying in your pocket, hand luggage or around your neck. The knife is incredibly light and compact. CRYO CPM 154 STEEL The blade is made from CRYO CPM 154 steel. It is a high-carbon, chromium and molybdenum blend that excels in corrosion resistance. With a hardness of more than 60HRC, it has excellent edge retention and high wear resistance. Sharpening is therefore recommended on diamond sharpening stones. CARRYING AND SHARPENING The package includes a replaceable cord loop. The knife allows the pocket clip to be rotated, enabling simple carrying in either left or right pocket. XR LOCK Reliable and solid, capable of withstanding force up to 680 kg, providing maximum safety for your fingers. This lock secures the blade in the open position. In addition, you have the option of easy opening by pressing the XR lock and flipping the handle, or by standard thumb stud operation.
