The US government knife evaluation programme included incredible tests that assessed: strength when the tip breaks, blade toughness, sharpness and edge retention; the Seal Pup knife handle passed the test. TOUGH AND VERSATILE Although the Seal Pup knife was developed for special units in harsh conditions on missions around the world, it is above all a highly versatile, durable knife. Its low weight, combined with a 123 mm blade, makes it an indispensable tool for the outdoors. The overall length of the knife is 229 mm, weight: 153 g. UNIQUE BLADE A 123 mm blade with partially smooth and partially serrated edge made from stainless steel AUS8 with powder surface treatment. The blade has a uniquely characteristic shape and is equipped with pronounced cross-serrations along the entire length of the spine. This will help prevent the hand from slipping when palm pressure is applied to the blade tip. HANDLE A solid and durable nylon handle reinforced with glass fibres. The blade material continues into 3/4 of the handle as a tang. SHEATH A nylon sheath with an accessory pocket is compatible with MOLLE attachment.
