DESIGN COLLABORATION The design of this striking closing mechanism was created in collaboration with Danish knife designer Mikkel Willumsen and SOG founder Spencer Frazer. COMPACT, BUT CAPABLE Don't be fooled by the smaller size. The Stout FLK has a blade of just 67 mm, but thanks to its 3.8 mm blade thickness, D2 steel and G10 stainless steel handle, it is an absolutely strong and durable tool. EASY OPENING Flipper opening is not particularly common on SOG knives. Here, given the size of the knife, we have chosen a blade opening method that will be comfortable for most of you regardless of your hand size. Once the blade is open, a framelock safety catch ensures secure opening. CRYO D2 STEEL A universal tool steel with high carbon content, cryogenically heat-treated to SOG specifications. D2 provides the ideal combination of edge retention and durability for long-term use. G10 AND STEEL HANDLE By combining these two materials, the Stout FLK knife achieves maximum strength in the handle. Smooth knife operation is ensured by bearings.
