An integrated nylon belt means one less piece of kit to think about. Vintage Industries Trail has it sewn into the waistband and, together with the elastic waist, keeps the shorts exactly where they should be. The lightweight stretch mini ripstop moves with the body and hidden zipped pockets preserve a clean line.
Ripstop that stops the tear
A reinforced yarn is woven into the fabric in a regular grid. When the material catches on something, the tear stops at the nearest grid line and goes no further. That is exactly why ripstop is used for field gear.
Stretch fabric
The elastane content gives the fabric a flexibility that follows movement — in a squat, on a rock scramble and during a full day of driving. The material does not bag out and keeps its shape after washing.
