Polarised sunglasses are designed so that the technologies and materials in these glasses can protect your vision and improve visibility in the most extreme conditions. They meet the strictest safety certifications according to the American National Standards Institute ANSI. CAPTIVATE technology enhances sharpness and colours that we can see because the human eye cannot distinguish a wide range of colours. Individual colours (blue, green, red) blend together and cause problems with vision sharpness. The lenses can separate these transitions and increase contrast and detail sharpness. CAPTIVATE Bronze Mirror polarised lenses reduce reflections from water surfaces and are therefore ideal for example for fishing in shallow water. They improve vision in mixed water or in water with red silty substrate. Light transmission is 12%.

Oleophobic surface treatment the new Wiley X CAPTIVATE sunglasses are coated on the outside with an oleophobic layer. This forces not only water molecules but also dust particles, dirt, snow and oil to actively run off the surface. No film forms on the lens that would impair vision, and the lenses are therefore much easier to clean.

Richer colours CAPTIVATE lenses filter out disruptive light that occurs at the boundary of the wavelengths of blue, green and red colour. As a result, the eye is able to perceive real colours better, which then appear richer and brighter.

• EN166F is a European standard whose impact standard is within protection against blunt force. In the impact test it was demonstrated that after impact by a steel ball, 6 mm in diameter, weighing 0.86 g and at a speed of 162 km/h, the glasses remained undamaged.
