In addition to first-class internal components, the baton is made from high-quality aluminium alloy, resulting in a weight of only 290 g. This makes it easier to carry in everyday life. The low weight also allows for greater power and energy output.

This professional baton can be opened in two ways: With a light wrist movement, the NEX N17A extends with a characteristic sound – which typically has the desired deterrent effect on the other person. It can also be opened silently. For silent extension of the baton, simply pull it out by the tip and then lock it in place. The baton is secured using a patented, unique system that is significantly more reliable and robust than conventional systems. To collapse the components, simply press the button at the end of the handle.
