Once upon a time, trappers, hikers and even soldiers did not carry sleeping bags with them. They slept under blankets. Until modern times, wool was the best blanket material. A few decades ago, modern nylon materials began to come into use. And so, during the Vietnam War, a new version of the blanket for the US military "Poncho Liner" was created. An ultra-light blanket made of artificial materials that could be paired with a poncho. Swagman means in Australian slang an itinerant worker. Someone along the lines of an American cowboy or trapper doing frontier work. Except that the Australian trapper walked on foot. He carried all his possessions wrapped in what was called a Bedroll. The Swagman Roll® is a nod to trappers who had to spend cold mornings wrapped in blankets. But our product won't let you get cold. It is made of thin nylon material between which is one of the best artificial fillings Climashield® Apex™. The Swagman Roll® is no ordinary blanket either. It's a multifunctional tool that will work wherever warmth is needed. It can be paired with a poncho, it can be a stand-alone sleeping bag, a blanket, a quilt under a hammock, it can be used as a second warming sleeping bag or as a liner. But the most important thing is that you can make an improvised jacket out of it.
