Folding poles offer a smaller packed size than conventional telescopic poles. To develop a folding pole that really fulfills all demands Komperdell had to go back to the drawing board and completely rethink and reengineer the way folding poles are built. The new FXP folding poles are up to 30 % lighter, provide a rock solid connection between the individual segments of the shaft and best of all, when released, the pole deploys completely onits own. The solid mechanical connection eliminates the usual rattle of a folding pole.
